The Team

The role is within the Client Reporting Engineering team.  Our teams are small, motivated, and highly productive. Collaborating side-by-side with AQR operations professionals, you will become intimately familiar with the platforms and processes that run AQR.

Your Role

You will be responsible for design, development, and support of AQR’s enterprise reporting applications suite.

Your responsibilities will include understanding business requirements, understanding current technology and business landscape, design and implementation of APIs, aggregation of data from various sources, implementation of business logic, automation of formatting and rendering of presentations and reports.

The candidate will also be responsible for support of the reporting applications, fixing of production issues, and maintaining detailed documentation. You are expected to be able to work directly with the business users, other engineering teams and infrastructure groups.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline in hand at the time of application
  • 2-3 years post-undergrad of software development experience in C#
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL ( SQL Server database is a plus)
  • Experience working with
    • .Net Core
    • AWS
    • Microservice architecture
    • RESTful application design
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter, team player, and excellent problem solver
  • Experience working with JAVA, Crystal Reports, Angular, JavaScript, CSS is a plus
  • Experience working in financial industry is a plus

This job is eligible to be performed remotely in the United States.

The salary range for this role is expected to be $115,000-$125,000.  This is the range that we in good faith believe is accurate for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, depending upon factors such as skills, experience, location, or other business and organizational needs.  This wage range may also be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
